1. Open Display Settings
- Right-click on the desktop and select Display settings.
2. Identify the Monitors
- In the Display settings window, you will see a diagram of your monitors labeled with numbers. Click Identify to see which number corresponds to which physical monitor.
3. Select the Smaller Monitor
- Click on the number that represents the smaller monitor in the diagram.
4. Adjust the Scale and Layout
- Scroll down to the Scale and layout section.
- Locate the Change the size of text, apps, and other items dropdown.
- Select a higher percentage (e.g., 125%, 150%) to increase the scale on the smaller monitor.
5. Apply Changes
- Once you select a new scale size, the changes will be applied immediately. Some apps may require restarting to reflect the updated scaling.
6. Fine-Tune for Custom Scaling (Optional)
- If the preset options don’t suit your needs, you can set a custom scaling level:
- Scroll down and click Advanced scaling settings under the Scale and layout section.
- Enter a custom percentage (e.g., 135%) for more precise scaling.
- Click Apply and sign out and back in if prompted.
7. Verify the Changes
- Check that the scaling looks appropriate on the smaller monitor while keeping the larger monitor unaffected.
