Enabling Windows Kiosk Mode with Another Account

  1. Create or Use a Dedicated Account for Kiosk Mode:

    • Make sure there is a specific user account set up for the kiosk. If not, create one:
      • Go to Settings > Accounts > Family & other users.
      • Under Other users, click Add account and create a local account.
  2. Open Kiosk Settings:

    • In Settings, go to Accounts > Family & other users.
    • Scroll down to Set up a kiosk and click Get started.
  3. Configure the Kiosk App:

    • Select the account you want to use for kiosk mode.
    • Choose the app that will run in kiosk mode (e.g., Microsoft Edge or another app).
  4. Set Up Single App Mode:

    • Follow the on-screen prompts to set up the kiosk.
    • Configure the app to launch in a specific mode if applicable (e.g., a browser in fullscreen mode).
  5. Save and Test:

    • Restart the terminal and log in with the kiosk account to verify the setup.
