MSR OPOS Driver & Instructions (HID Switch)

Modified on Wed, 7 Jan at 10:58 AM

To switch to HID Mode:

When the MSR is in HID mode, a program must be written to read the HID interface in order to obtain swipe data. Therefore, in most cases, the mode-switch command is only implemented within the OPOS driver, and it is generally not saved after power-off.

If OPOS is used, you should select a model/version that supports OPOS and then install the OPOS driver. When the OPOS driver calls the device’s Claim interface, the device will enter HID mode automatically.
