Q: What should I do if the sensor or gateway cannot be found during search?
A:
- First, make sure you selected the correct device type. For example:
- A Wi-Fi gateway was mistakenly selected as a 4G gateway
- A Bluetooth sensor was mistakenly selected as a Wi-Fi sensor
- The device may still be bound from factory testing and was not unbound properly. In this case, perform a factory reset:
- Sensor reset:
Press and hold the switch button on the bottom until the indicator starts flashing. Then press and hold the power button until the screen turns black. The device will automatically restart shortly after, completing the factory reset. - Gateway reset:
Press and hold the button until you hear three beeps. Then press the button once again to complete the factory reset.
